If I could go back in time and meet any person in history my first choice would be Queen Victoria of England (because she was pretty amazing for such a young Queen) but coming a close second would definitely be C.S. Lewis. He has penned many, many phenomenal words including these gems:
"When the whole world is running towards a cliff, he who is running the opposite direction appears to have lost his mind."
As Christians we are called to live apart from the world and sometimes this is really hard, but we have to remember where and to whom we are running. Earth is now and Heaven is forever.
