My Top 5 Christmas Songs

Here are my top 5 always-on-repeat Christmas songs for the year (they didn't necessarily come out this year) in no particular order:

1. All Is Well - Carrie Underwood & Michael W. Smith - can you really ever go wrong with Carrie Underwood? Beautiful lyrics and beautiful harmonies

2. Nothing Like Christmas - Anthem Lights - I've had a new-found appreciation for these talented guys since I started listening to their covers this summer. I love the thoughtfulness of these lyrics!

3. Emmanuel - Love & The Outcome - These two nail it every time and this one is absolutely no exception! Beautiful vocals!

4. December 25 - Francesca Battistelli - A cute, upbeat song to put on in the background while you're Christmas cookie making!

5. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy - Pentatonix - Seriously... how talented can you get? Mind. Blown!

Oldies but Goodies

Here are some CDs that aren't so recent, but that have been on my playlist lately. Hope this can help you mix up your music listening as you study for finals or whatever you have to do!

The Saving One ~ Starfield
Worship, a little rock and some beautiful lyrics.

Pieces of a Real Heart ~ Sanctus Real
This one has a bit of rock in it to and some awesome, Christ-centered lyrics.
Well Meaning Fiction ~ Mainstay
These guys aren't well known and they aren't around anymore, but if I could only bring one CD to a desert island, this might be it!
All Things Bright and Beautiful ~ Owl City
This is probably my favorite Owl City CD. It's got dance music all the way to more thoughtful music.
Hundred More Years ~ Francesca Battistelli
A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Perfect if you want a female Christian artist coming through your speakers.

Have a great Sunday!
